EY-Parthenon is looking for a Turnaround & Restructuring Strategy Manager to join our MENA team. In this role, you will be an integral part of our diversely talented and highly experienced team, working at the forefront of high-profile transactions. Our strategic advisors deliver high-quality advice to clients, helping them navigate complex financial and operational challenges.
Key Responsibilities
You will be involved in assisting clients in evaluating capital options, maximizing transaction value, and achieving strategic objectives — whether through financial restructurings, enhanced cash management, value creation, the or sale of distressed assets. You will support the preparation of comprehensive financial reviews of client operations, and provide advisory services on corporate risk management. Collaboration with cross-functional project teams from various strategy and transactions sub-service lines is essential.
You will also be contributing to practice development initiatives that promote a positive and high-performing work environment. You will be building and maintaining strong client relationships, while influencing and advising key decision-makers.

They possess excellent quantitative and qualitative analysis capabilities, with the ability to synthesize complex findings and connect them to client-specific challenges. Advanced numerical skills are essential, including proficiency in financial modeling and detailed financial analysis to support strategic decision-making.
Qualification & Experience
- Have a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
- At least 7 years of relevant work experience in restructuring and turnarounds.
- Have strong finance and accounting capabilities, with a keen eye for detail.
- Have excellent command of spoken and written English.
- Excellent problem-solving, facilitation, and interpersonal skills
- Flexibility to travel in the region as required to meet client requirements
Ideally, you’ll also have:
- Chartered Accountant, CFA or similar professional qualification
- Knowledge of Islamic finance.
- Client-facing experience from professional services, consulting, or banking background.
- Financial modeling experience
- Fluency in Arabic, both written and spoken, would be beneficial.
